The Project

The National Center for Visual Arts (CNAP), originally located in La Défense, is now situated in Pantin, Seine-Saint-Denis, to create a single site adapted to the Center’s missions. In addition to the space already dedicated to their team, this new building will allow, among other things:

  • Hosting partners
  • Showcasing creations through exhibition rooms
  • Collecting information with a documentation area

This new space is expected to be expanded later to accommodate storage for the National Furniture collection. This 36-million-euro project aims to consolidate the spaces dedicated to Visual Arts over an area of more than 17,000 m². It will thereby promote optimal preservation of the artworks and facilitate the daily work of contemporary art professionals.
