The Project
Located in the protected Marais district (Paris), near Place des Vosges, the former Minimes Barracks has been rehabilitated into social housing, a daycare center, a community restaurant, and an activity zone.
Occupied for over a hundred years by the military, this space is now frequently visited by families. Previously inaccessible to the public because it was reserved for the Gendarmerie, this former barracks of more than 7,000 m² retains its original rectangular shape, thus preserving the tranquility of the residents. Several arch-shaped entrances reflect the desire to open the building onto the street.
